Durga Puja Quader's order to guard Hindu household, places of worship
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 21 October 2023: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has ordered party leaders and activists across the country to guard the places of worship and houses of the Hindu community during Durga Puja.
After the meeting with the leaders of the Puja Celebration Parishad on Friday morning, he informed the journalist about the party's instructions.
Obaidul Quader said that the incident of violence in Comilla has come to the attention of the party. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has personally inquired with deep concern. The whole matter is being investigated by the team. Corporate action will be taken if anyone misbehaves.
Awami League general secretary said in response to reporters' questions about BNP's October 28 rally, the same fate as December 10 will happen on October 28.
