Rajakar list to be released soon

We will have a meeting in seven to 10 days. I have collected some lists. Hopefully, the partial list will be published by December 16. The full list will then be published in phases.

He was speaking to reporters after a parliamentary committee meeting at the parliament building on Sunday (September 26th). Shahjahan Khan is also the convener of the sub-committee. He said the sub-committee has already started work. They will work with the members of parliament who are freedom fighters and children of freedom fighters. More information will be taken from the wartime commander and the freedom fighter parliament command at the upazila level.

Earlier on August 9, a parliamentary committee on the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs formed a six-member sub-committee to compile a list of Razakars. After that a partial list of Razakars was published but the list was postponed due to protests.

The list was suspended on December 16 at the behest of the Prime Minister, three days after it was finally published in the context of a controversy over the names of several freedom fighters, including Razakar and Al-Badr.
