Bangladesh Road mishap in Bangladesh leaves 14 people dead
Dhaka, 19 March 2023 : At least 14 people were killed when a Dhaka-bound Imad Paribahan bus fell into a ditch in Qutubpur area of Shibchar in Madaripur.
30 people were injured in this incident. This accident happened on the morning of Sunday, March 19.
Officer-in-Charge of Shibchar Highway Police (OC) Abu Naeem Md. Mofazzel Haque confirmed this.
Locals said that a bus of Imad Paribahan leaving Khulna on Sunday morning lost control and fell down in Qutubpur area of Shibchar before Padma bridge. At this time, the bus overturned. It is reported that the bodies of 14 passengers have been recovered from the bus till 8:30 am.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shibchar Highway Police said that 14 people were killed in the accident. Rescue work is going on. Details will be given later.
