Bangladesh Security tightened across Durga Puja pandals across Bangladesh
Dhaka, 22 October 2023: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman has said that security has been strengthened in every worship hall in Dhaka city.
He said this while addressing the chief guest at the distribution ceremony of clothes among the helpless and distressed people who were left behind to spread endless joy and happiness in autumn Durga Puja organized at Loknath Brahmachari Ashram and Temple on Saturday.
DMP Commissioner said, we are by your side in any situation. Together we will enjoy the joy of worship.
Pankaj Nath, Member of Parliament of Barisal-4 Constituency and President of Loknath Brahmachari Ashram and Temple was present as the President of the event. In the President's speech, Member of Parliament Pankaj Nath said, We are all Bengalis regardless of caste, religion, caste.
Our first identity is that we are human. This puja has been celebrated in our country since time immemorial. This is Bangladesh of harmony.
He also said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, we are determined to enrich the harmony of Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists and Christians in this country. Senior officials of DMP, leaders of Loknath Brahmachari Ashram and Temple Management Committee and local public representatives were present at the time.
