Dhaka, April 20: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that some political parties backed by the BNP-Jamaat alliance are conspiring to overthrow the Awami League government to bring the people of the country back to the age of darkness and misery.

She said that while Bangladesh is a role model of world development, some people of our country are busy to tarnish the image of Bangladesh by spreading propaganda abroad. The government is busy overthrowing.

She urged the parties to present their programs to the people of the country, saying that they should say what they want to do for the country. We have highlighted our program.

The Prime Minister said this while addressing a function on the occasion of 50th founding anniversary of Krishak League on Wednesday (April 20). She joined the program of Krishibid Institution through video conferencing from Ganobhaban.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister presented the development picture of his government in the field of agriculture. "We have ensured the use of digital technology in agriculture," she said. "We have undertaken a project titled 'Agricultural Mechanization through Integrated Management' at a cost of Tk 3,020 crore over a period of five years (2020-25). Under this project 51,300 agricultural implements will be distributed in 12 categories."

She further said that we have made arrangements to exchange information with the farmers through Krishak Bandhu Phone Service (3331), Krishaker Janala, Krishi Call Center (16123) etc. ‘Krishi Batayan’ has been created to facilitate the delivery of agricultural services. 499 Agricultural Information and Communication Centers (AICCs) have been set up, agricultural community radios have been set up, e-agriculture services have been identified and the problem is being solved immediately by taking pictures from crop fields and sending them through the app.

Former president MA Jalil, former general secretary Mizanur Rahman Manu, former general secretary Harunur Rashid Hawlader, former president Motahar Hossain Mollah, current general secretary Umme Kulsum Smriti and others also spoke in the presidency of Krishak League president Samir Chand.
