Sheikh Hasina Sheikh Hasina to visit Germany next month to attend Munich Security Conference
Dhaka, Jan 26: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is visiting Germany next month to attend the Munich Security Conference (MSC).
Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud said, "The Prime Minister has decided to attend the Munich Security Conference and we are now working towards a bilateral meeting (to be held in Germany on the sidelines of the conference)."
The bilateral meeting will be held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference to be held in Germany from February 16 to 18.
The foreign minister told reporters after a separate meeting with the French ambassador to Bangladesh Marie Masdupuy and the German ambassador to Bangladesh Achim Troster at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This will be Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's first foreign visit after the election. The Munich Security Conference (msc) is billed as the most high-profile annual dialogue on global security issues. Apart from the bilateral meeting with the German leaders, there is a possibility that the Prime Minister of Bangladesh will have a meeting with other world leaders on the sidelines of the conference.
Earlier in 2019, the Prime Minister attended the security conference. The Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2024 will be held at Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich.
