Sheikh Hasina to visit India on Oct 3

She will visit the neighbouring nation from Oct 3 to Oct 6.

"During this first visit of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to India since the completion of elections in Bangladesh and India, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will call upon Hon’ble Rashtrapatiji, and hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5," read an official statement issued by the Indian government on Hasina's visit to India.

Apart from a number of agreements that are to be exchanged between the sides during the visit, the two Prime Ministers will also jointly inaugurate three bilateral projects via video link.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will also participate as Chief Guest at the India Economic Summit organized by the World Economic Forum on 03-04 October 2019.

 Modi and Hasina met on the sidelines of the recently concluded UN General Assembly meeting in New York.
