SSC-equivalent result released, pass rate is 80.39 percent

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 28 July 2023: The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been released. This year the average pass rate in 11 education boards of the country is 80.39 percent. A total of 16 lakh 41 thousand 140 people cleared the exams. Among them, were 7 lakh 96 thousand 404 male students and 8 lakh 44 thousand 736 female students.

This time a total of 1 lakh 83 thousand 578 people got GPA-5. Among them were 84 thousand 964 male students and 98 thousand 614 female students. However, the average pass rate of nine general education boards of the country is 80.94 percent. A total of 13 lakh 22 thousand 446 students passed the exam. Among them were 6 lakh 16 thousand 71 male students and 7 lakh 6 thousand 375 female students. One lakh 59 thousand 220 got GPA-5- 70 thousand 975 male students and 88 thousand 245 female students.

On the other hand, the pass rate in Madrasa Education Board is 74.70 percent. One lakh 950 male students and 1 lakh 12 thousand 14 female students cleared the exams. Six thousand 213 people got GPA-5- 3 thousand 188 male students and 3 thousand 25 female students. The technical education board pass rate is 86.35 percent. 79 thousand 383 male students and 26 thousand 347 female students passed. Eighteen thousand 145 people got GPA-5- 10 thousand 801 male students and 7 thousand 344 female students.

This year's Madhyamik School Certificate (SSC) and Concurrent Examination results have been released. This year, the average pass rate in 11 education boards of the country is 80.39 percent.

Earlier, around 9 am, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the summary of 2023 SSC and equivalent exam results. Later at around 11 o'clock in the capital, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni gave a summary of the SSC and equivalent exam results in front of the journalists at the International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha.

Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury along with the chairmen of the education boards were present on the occasion.
