SSC exams to start on Nov 14, HSC from Dec 2

Dhaka, September 27: This year's SSC and HSC and equivalent examination schedules have been finalized and approved by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education. The two test schedules were approved on Monday. According to the schedule of SSC examinations approved by the Ministry of Education, the test will start on November 14 with the examination in Physics (Theoretical).

Physics (theoretical) in the morning on November 14, History and World Civilization of Bangladesh and Accounting Science in the afternoon on November 15, Chemistry (theoretical) on November 16, Physical Education and Sports (Theoretical) on November 18, Geography and Environment on November 21 in the morning and Finance and Banking in the afternoon. Higher Mathematics (Theoretical) and Biology (Theoretical) will be examined on November 22, Politics and Citizenship and Economics on November 23, Business Entrepreneurship in the afternoon.

On the other hand, the theoretical subjects in the HSC examination will start on December 2 and end on December 30. According to the schedule, examinations will be held in two shifts from 10:00 am to 11:30 am and from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

In the case of both the tests, it has been said that due to Covid-19 pandemic, the test has to be taken in accordance with proper hygiene rules. Candidates have to take seats in the examination room 30 minutes before the start of the examination.

First multiple choice and then creative / compositional (theoretical) test will be held. There will be no break between the two parts. One and a half hours will be given for each test.

Professor Nehal Ahmed, Chairman, Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Education, said, "Based on our proposal, the Ministry of Education has approved the routine of SSC and HSC-equivalent examinations. There is a meeting about it in the afternoon. Two examination routines will be published on the websites of all the Boards of Education."
