According to the sources of the inter-education board coordination sub-committee on Sunday, the 2023 SSC-equivalent examination may be organized after the next Eid-ul-Fitr i.e. towards the end of April. Exam preparation has been started with that target. Two months after that, the HSC-equivalent examination will be held at the end of June. A meeting of the ministry is scheduled to be held in this regard. The timing of the exam will be finalized there.

Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka Chairman and Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee President Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that the SSC and HSC examinations of 2023 will be slightly postponed. The examination may be organized two months later than the scheduled time. A meeting is scheduled to be held in the Ministry of Education in this regard. A decision will be taken after discussion there.

Another official of the board, who did not wish to be named, said that it has been decided to start the SSC examination in the last week of April. Two months later, the HSC exam will be held in the week ending June. In this way, the draft test routine will be prepared and given to the Ministry of Education. It will be published once approved by the Ministry.

Meanwhile, this year's HSC-equivalent examination is going to start on November 6. The Ministry of Education has called a meeting of the law and order committee to make this examination fair. The meeting will be held on October 19. Education Minister Dipu Moni will hold a press conference at noon on that day and highlight the overall preparation for the exam.
