Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Oct 26: Preparation of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examination results has started. The result may be declared between November 27 and 30. The proposal in this regard will be sent to the Ministry of Education from the Inter-Education Coordinating Board at the beginning of November. After that, the results will be announced on the scheduled date with the approval of the Prime Minister.

On September 15, SSC and equivalent exams started simultaneously across the country. The SSC exam ended on October 1 with the Higher Mathematics (Theory) exam. The practical exam was held between October 10 and 15. At present, preparations are underway to publish the results of SSC and equivalent exams.

Sources said many examiners have already started evaluating the answer sheets and sending them to the education board. Somewhere again in the last step, the assessment is being verified. When asked about this, the President of the Inter-Education Coordinating Board and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar told Jago News on Tuesday evening that the work of evaluating the SSC answer sheets is underway. It will end in mid-November.

He said the results are published within 60 days of the completion of the examination. The proposal will be sent to the Ministry of Education in the first week of November, mentioning the possible time between November 27 and 30 or December 1 for the publication of the results. The proposal from the ministry will go to the Prime Minister. The result will be announced on the day the Prime Minister gives her consent.

This year, a total of 20 lakh 21 thousand 868 candidates participated in the examination under 11 education boards including nine general education boards, madrasa, and technical education boards. Out of this only 15 lakh 99 thousand 711 candidates were under general education boards. This exam was held in 3,790 centers across the country. Candidates from 29,591 educational institutions participated in it.
