Dhaka, November 6: The owners' association has decided to call off the transport strike in Chittagong considering the suffering of the people. Public transport will run in Chittagong city from 6:00 am on Sunday. Belayet Hossain Belal, president of the Chittagong Metropolitan Transport Owners Group, confirmed the matter at noon on Saturday (November 6).

He said, "Public transport will run in Chittagong city from Sunday. One party is trying to gain political advantage by blocking roads and blocking the movement of CNG-powered autorickshaws and private cars. That is why the strike has been called off."

However, Mohammad Musa, president of the Chittagong Regional Committee of the Workers Federation, said, "The strike has been called centrally. We haven't got a decision from there yet. I don't know if anyone will withdraw."
