Temperature to rise in the next three days: Meteorological Department

Dhaka, February 26: Although there was a possibility of rain in the country in the last few days, it is no longer there, said the Meteorological Department. At the same time, the temperature may rise further in the next three days, it added.

On Saturday (February 26), the lowest temperature in the country was 11.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia. Which was 14.8 degrees Celsius the day before. The temperature in Dhaka has risen from 19.5 degrees Celsius to 20.1 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologist Mohammad Abdul Hamid Mia said the weather could remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies for the next 24 hours from 9am on Saturday. Light to moderate fog may fall in river basins across the country from late night to early morning. During this time, the night temperature will remain unchanged and the day temperature may rise slightly.

Besides, the country's temperature may rise further in the next 72 hours, the Meteorological Department said.
