Dhaka, September 29: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the party will win the next election as well. He said the Awami League will also win the next elections due to Sheikh Hasina's honesty and patriotism.
He was speaking at a discussion meeting of the Sheikh Russell National Children and Adolescent Council on the occasion of Sheikh Hasina's birthday in the Shahbagh National Museum Hall room on Wednesday (September 29).
Mentioning the reasons for Sheikh Hasina's development, Obaidul Quader said, "Honesty and courage are the magic of Sheikh Hasina in the development progress of the country." Calling on good people to come into politics at this time, he said, "If good people are not in politics, the politics of the country will be harmed." That is why meritorious, honest and virtuous citizens have to come into politics.
Criticizing the BNP, he said, "BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is calling for movement in the country in the message coming from the banks of the river Thames." At that time, he commented that the BNP's disintegration will not stop.
