Dhaka, May 16: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the government will be formed with the representatives in the parliament.

Regarding keeping the opposition in the election government, she said, we can only show this generosity, if any of those who are in the parliament express their desire to join the election government, we are willing to take it. We have shown this generosity before. I even invited Khaleda Zia in 2014. They didn't come. Now they are not in the parliament. So there is nothing to worry about them.

She said this at a press conference on Monday (May 15) afternoon at Ganabhaban, highlighting his experience of visiting Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom. Pointing out that Bangladesh followed the Westminster of Democracy in the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister said that the same way elections are held there, the same will happen in Bangladesh.

She said, the way elections are held in Britain, the way they do it, we will do it the same way. In the meantime, we can show this generosity, if any of the members of parliament who are in the parliament express their desire to come to the government during the election period, we are willing to take it. We have this much generosity, we have taken it before.

In response to a question about the election, Sheikh Hasina said, "We are with the people, we are working for the people. People's trust is my only strength. I have nothing to lose. I have lost all my parents and brothers, what do I have to lose! We are working for the country. He said, fear that the election is coming! Why be afraid! I have worked for the people, if the people vote I am there, if not I am not."

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, party presidium members, Parliament Deputy Leader Matia Chowdhury, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Salim and Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, Planning Minister MA Mannan and Prime Minister's Private Industries and Investment Advisor Salman F Rahman were present in the press conference. Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim moderated the press conference.
