Those who secretly left the Qur'an in the temple in Cumilla have been caught: Minister for Liberation War Affairs

Dhaka, Oct 18, 2021: Liberation War Affairs Minister AQM Mozammel Haque has said that a grooup, which is against independence, are trying to create religious tension.

They have done the work of keeping the Qur'an in the temple in Comilla. Those who secretly left the Qur'an there have also been caught, the minister said.

He said this at the inaugural function of Panchagarh Sadar Upazila Muktijoddha Complex Bhaban organized by the district administration.

The Liberation War Minister has said that the anti-independence activists wanted to create a chaotic situation by hurting religious sentiments. They want to turn our country into a failed state by creating religious tension.

It was attended by heroic freedom fighters from different areas of the district, Awami League leaders and activists, media workers and people of different levels.

Earlier, the minister laid a wreath at the mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Sadar Upazila Liberation War Complex.

He then cut the ribbon and inaugurated the newly constructed Upazila Muktijoddha Complex building by flying balloons.

The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) constructed the complex building at a cost of Taka 2 crore 25 lakh 36 thousand 540.
