Factory Fire Three employees burnt in Narayanganj factory fire
Dhaka, November 26: Three people sustained serious burn injuries as a fire broke out in a seven-storey building in the Siddhirganj area of Narayanjganj around 6:00 pm on Thursday, reports said.
The victims have been identified as Mamun, 27, Jibon, 20, and Parvej, 28. They are employees of Ananta Apparels.
They were rushed to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Riaz, another worker and a witness, said that the employees were on a break and getting ready for the night shift when there was a sudden blast, and the fire broke out.
Reports quoted Dr SM Ayub Hossain, resident surgeon of the hospital, as saying that Parvej and Mamun have suffered 100 percent burns, while Jibon has sustained 30 percent burns.
