Dengue Three more die of dengue, 250 hospitalised
Dhaka, November 18: Three people died of dengue fever in 24 hours from Thursday 8 am to Friday 8 am. At the same time, 250 dengue patients are under treatment in the hospital. With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospitals across the country stood at 2,712.
According to the report, 171 of the 250 people admitted to the hospital with dengue are residents of Dhaka and 79 are from outside Dhaka.
According to the information of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), from January 1 to November 18, a total of 51,602 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. Among them, 48,670 people have recovered and received discharge from the hospital.
A total of 220 people have died from dengue since January 1. The first death due to dengue was reported on June 21 this year.
