Gazipur Murder Throat-slit bodies of two men found in Gazipur
Dhaka, July 8: Police in Gazipur recovered two bodies of men with their throats slit, on Wednesday.
The corpses were found near a brick kiln near Turag river in Gazipur’s Konabari area around 9:30 pm.
Rafiqul Islam, station Inspector (investigation) of Konabari police was quoted by Dhaka Tribune as saying: “Some fishermen found the bodies and informed us."
“When we recovered the bodies, they were covered with water hyacinth. Both their throats were slit and one had his legs tied with rope. They were possibly killed a week ago,” he said.
The cop said an investigation is underway, adding that the corpses will be sent to the morgue of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital in Gazipur for autopsy.
