Violent clash at Jessore juvenile facility kills three

Dhaka, August 14: Clash between two groups of teenage boys killed at least three at a juvenile facility in Bangladesh's Jessore.

The incident took place at the Jashore Juvenile Development Centre on Thursday, reports said.

The deceased have been identified as Naim Hasan, 17, and ‘Rasel’ alias ‘Sujon’ from Bogura and Parvez Hasan, 18, from Khulna.

The two teams clashed over turf dominance, said Towhidul Islam, the district’s additional superintendent of police.

The bodies were sent to Jashore General Hospital.

The clash broke out around 2 PM.

The groups used iron rods and sticks to attack each other.
