Dhaka, December 31: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader asked if the BNP leaders feel shame while using the Padma Bridge. He said, "Padma Bridge was built was a patch work. Now you go to Khulna within three hours to hold a rally. Why are you using the Padma Bridge now? Your national leader said that Padma Bridge was a patchwork. Why do you use this bridge now? Are you not ashamed?"

A peace meeting was held on the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League on Friday (December 30) afternoon to protest the anti-national conspiracy, anarchy and propaganda of BNP-Jamaat. He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at this peace rally in Shyamoli Square premises of the capital.

Obaidul Quader said, "Today I saw a teenager said in an interview, I live in New York, I came to Dhaka. It's not the Dhaka Metro, it's the New York Metro."

He said, "Today, Sheikh Hasina has built the Metrorail, Padma Bridge, Karnaphuli tunnel, and their heads hang in shame. Burn, this is heart burn. 'Alas, what we could not do, Sheikh Hasina has done?' Losing the vote politics. Leaders of BNP do not be angry. There is no use in being angry. The people of Bangladesh will vote in the next 2024 elections and put Bangabandhu's daughter in power for the fourth time in a row."

He also said, "Beware of dogs is written in front of the houses of big people. People say beware of Tareque. Beware of BNP. The game will be played, Bangladesh will not go back to bloodshed. He sits in London and say 'take back'. The people of Bangladesh will not go back to Hawa Bhavan."

Awami League general secretary said, "They will repair the state. BNP has destroyed this state. They have killed the democracy of this state. They (BNP) do corrupt politics. Those who do corrupt politics cannot repair the state."
