DHaka, April 8: The businessmen affected by the terrible fire in Bangabazar have set up cloth shops on the road and footpath. On Saturday (April 8) morning, on the south side of Bangabazar, which was burnt by fire, about five hundred traders sat with their shops in wooden chowks under the flyover.

Many people are sitting with the clothes they were able to save from the fire. Even though there is a crowd around the shops, the sales have not gathered yet. All the businessmen have a sad expression on their faces.
Talking to the traders, it is known that they are sitting with whatever goods they could save. If there is some sales before Eid, you can pay some salary to the employees or help yourself a little.

Md. Rahim is sitting with a shop under the flyover. He said there were two shops in Banga Market. Both the shops were burnt to ashes. I was able to move some stuff. So I brought it. No sale. Because our regular customers do not know the address of the shop. Only Allah knows how to celebrate this Eid.

Saiful Islam had a jeans pants and shirts shop in Bangabazar's Gulisthan market. The shop was burnt down and now his address is the footpath. Saiful said, everything is over. There is no money for food at home. So I was forced to set up shop on the sidewalk.

Talked with businessman Riaz Howlader. Sitting with genji, pajama, trousers. He said, there were two shops in Ardash Market of Bangabazar. Both are burnt to ashes. Could not recover any goods. I bought some new goods and sat with the shop today. Not yet known. That's why sales are less.

Last April 4 (Tuesday) at 6:10 in the morning, a terrible fire broke out in Bangabazar of the capital. Banga Market, Gulistan Market, Mahanagar Shopping Complex, Adarsh Market and Annexco Tower were burnt down in Bangbazar Complex. Businessmen claim that they have lost around 2 thousand crore rupees in the fire.
