Bangladesh-India Bangladesh-India naval secretary level meeting begins today
Dhaka, Dec 19: The two-day Naval Secretary level meeting between Bangladesh and India, the Standing Committee meeting under the Protocol on Inland Water Transit and Trade (PIWT&T) and the Inter-Governmental Committee (ICC) meeting began on Tuesday at a local hotel in Dhaka.
This information was shared in the press release of the Ministry of Shipping on Monday.
Md. Mustafa Kamal, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, and TK Ramachandran, Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, India, will lead their respective countries.
On behalf of Bangladesh, a 31-member delegation consisting of representatives of relevant ministries and departments has been formed to participate in the two meetings. India has already listed a 23-member delegation to participate in the meeting, the shipping ministry said.
