Bangladesh registers 32 dengue cases in 24 hours

Dhaka, July 7: In the last 24 hours, 32 patients have been admitted to the hospital with Aedes mosquito-borne dengue fever.

At present, all of them are undergoing treatment at various government and private hospitals in Dhaka. A total of 124 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country. Of these, 121 are in 41 government and private hospitals in the capital Dhaka and three are in hospitals outside Dhaka.

This information was given in a press release sent by Dr. Kamrul Kibria, Assistant Director, Health Information Unit (MIS) of the Department of Health and Officer-in-Charge of Health Emergency Operations and Control Room on Tuesday (July 6).

Of the 32 patients admitted in the last 24 hours, six at Ad-Din Medical College Hospital, five each at Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital, Islami Bank Hospital in Kakrail and Square Hospital, three at Khidma Hospital in Khilgaon, two each at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and Holy Family, one each at Ibn Sina, Delta Hospital Mirpur, Central Hospital Dhanmondi and Universal Hospital.
