CEC visits polling station at night to see election preparations

Dhaka, July 17: The challenge of the ballot paper is going to be held on Monday. Polling will continue from 8 am to 4 pm. CEC and Election Commissioners will monitor the CCTV cameras from the Agargaon election building.

However, before that, on Sunday evening, CEC Kazi Habibul Awal visited Banani Bidyaniketan School and College Center to see the final preparations for the polls. EC Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam was also present.

The electoral materials of 124 centers have reached on Sunday, the day before the polls. Ballot papers will be sent from center to center from Banani Vidyaniketan School and College by the Returning Officer in the morning of the polling day. Just five and a half months before the twelfth parliamentary elections, Niruttap is not very interested in the election, but the security system is tight.

Stating that there is no challenge in this by-election of Dhaka-17 constituency, EC Secretary Jahangir Alam told reporters, "I hope the election will be held in a fair and beautiful manner. All arrangements for the election have been completed. Election materials were distributed on Sunday. We hope we can gift the nation a fair election through the spontaneous participation of the people."
