Class 11 admission application starts

Dhaka, December 9: Online application for the first phase of admission in class XI and equivalent has started. Admission application starts on Thursday (December 8). Acceptance of application and publication of merit list will be done in three phases till January 18. Enrollees have to pay 328 rupees for admission at the scheduled time. The admission process will continue from 22nd to 26th January. Classes will begin on February 1.

A maximum of Tk 5,000 has been fixed in MPO-affiliated institutions and Tk 8,500 in non-MPO for admission to Class XI. The Dhaka Education Board has announced this information by issuing admission policy on Wednesday (December 7).

Who can apply:

In 2020, 2021 and 2022, students who have passed SSC or equivalent examination from any education board and open university of the country can apply for admission in class XI. Students who have passed in other years from Open University can also apply manually. Students who have passed an equivalent examination from a foreign board or institution can apply for admission after determining the standard of certificate. You have to go to the Teletalk website and apply.

This year, students from 29,639 educational institutions participated in 3,790 centers across the country. This time the number of candidates was 19 lakh 94 thousand 137. Out of which 17 lakh 43 thousand 619 passed. Last year the number of students was 22 lakh 40 thousand 395. Out of which 20 lakh 96 thousand 546 passed.

This year two lakh 69 thousand 602 students got GPA-5 across the country in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations. Among them, 1 lakh 21 thousand 156 students and 1 lakh 48 thousand 446 female students.

This year's results were released on November 28 at 12 noon. Compared to last year, the number of students who got GPA-5 has increased by 86 thousand 262 people. Last time 1 lakh 83 thousand 340 people got GPA-5.
