Dhaka, June 26: Like Eid-ul-Fitr, railway authorities have sold 100 percent advance train tickets online for Eid-ul-Azha as well. Advance ticket sales have already ended. Return tickets are now available. Today (Monday, June 26) is the third day of the Eid journey.

Meanwhile, as Eid is approaching, passenger pressure is increasing at Kamalapur railway station in the capital. A crowd of homebound people has been seen at the station since Monday morning. However, in case of ticketless passengers, strictness has been imposed this time. No passenger can enter the station without a ticket.

Railway authorities say that the Eid journey will start on Monday through the first inter-city Dhumketu Express on Monday. On this day, more than 50 thousand people will leave Dhaka for different destinations by train. On the other hand, there is no complaint even on the third day of this year's Eid journey. I thought that the train will depart late during Eid. But before long he was seen waiting at the train terminal.

Before this, the advance ticket sales of the intercity train Eid trip started from June 14. As per railway plan, June 24 tickets are given on June 14. Similarly, advance tickets for June 25 are given on June 15, June 26 on June 16, June 17 for June 27 and June 28 are given on June 18.

And return advance train tickets for Eid trip started from June 22. Accordingly, tickets for July 2 were given on June 22. Return train tickets are being given on 23rd June 3rd July, 24th June 4th July, 25th June 5th July and 26th June 6th July respectively.

This year too, 25 percent of the total seats will be sold without seats or standing tickets. These tickets are available from Dhaka, Dhaka Cantonment, Airport and Joydevpur Station. Only unseated tickets can be purchased from the station counters on the day of departure. This time, about 29,000 seat tickets will be sold daily on the intercity train from Dhaka to Eid Yatra. And more than 50 thousand people will leave Dhaka today by commuter and intercity.
