Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrated across Bangladesh with religious solemnity

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Oct 10: Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated through various programmes across the country, including the capital Dhaka, on Sunday.

On this occasion, Milad and Doa Mahfil, Zikir-Azkar, Monajat, processions, processions, and gatherings were organized with religious solemnity.

On the occasion of the auspicious birthday of the last Prophet Syedul Mursaleen, Rahmatallil Alamin Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), like other countries of the world, Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated in Bangladesh. On this occasion, a huge peace rally and procession was held at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital under the initiative of Anjumane Rahmaniya Moiniya Maizbhandari.

Member of Awami League Advisory Council and Central 14 party coordinator Amir Hossain Amu MP was present as the chief guest in the rally held under the chairmanship of Maizvandaria leader Allama Shah Sufi Syed Moinuddin.

Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud MP, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, and Nurul Amin Ruhul MP ​​spoke as special guests in the rally held under the direction of Shahsufi Syed Saifuddin Ahmed. Also, a huge procession was held in the capital's Mirpur area under the banner of 'Dhaka Mirpur locals'.

At the end of the seminar, a colorful procession was taken out from Mahanagar Natyamanch and the procession ended by visiting Gulistan Zero Point at Mahanagar Natyamanch. Islamic Foundation has undertaken various programmes for 15 days including Milad and Doa Mahfil in different mosques of the country to celebrate Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious solemnity.

President Md. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages to celebrate this day. Millions of articles were published in newspapers and programmes were broadcast on television.

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was born on the 12th of Hijri Rabiul Awal. His death anniversary is also on the same day. According to the Hijri calendar, the people of Bangladesh celebrate Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi on this day. There is also a public holiday on this day.
