Novo Theatre Every division to have Bangabandhu Novo Theater: PM Hasina
Dhaka, March 3: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that Bangabandhu Novo Theater will be built in every division of the country. "The law has been passed. We will do the rest. So that our boys and girls can get better education, can acquire knowledge," she said.
She was speaking as the chief guest while participating in 'Bangabandhu Science and Technology Fellowship', 'NST Fellowship' and 'Special Research Grant' among teachers, scientists, researchers and science students from various universities and research institutes on Thursday (March 3).
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that many skilled engineers and workers are being developed by working on big projects in the country. "We are doing big projects like tunnel or nuclear power plant, Padma bridge at the bottom of Karnafuli river, many of our engineers and workers are working here. Through this we are creating skilled manpower as well as acquiring knowledge. Using technology, starting from Digital Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park which we are creating, at least our boys and girls are gaining technical knowledge. They need to move forward," she said.
Calling upon all to work for the betterment of the country, the Prime Minister said, "Everyone must concentrate on building the Bangladesh of tomorrow, that is, the developed and prosperous Bangladesh of Mission 41. We have to look at how Bangladesh will move forward step by step. We want to build our country in such a way that it is technology dependent, so that everyone is equipped with technology knowledge."
The head of government said the government has been able to control coronavirus or Covid-19 infections. "We have controlled Covid. Today, 70 percent of the people in Bangladesh have been vaccinated. Everyone else has to be vaccinated. Before I saw reluctance, now I see interest in people. Consideration has also been given to whether children under the age of 12 can be vaccinated."
