Dhaka, December 7: Five bogies of an oil-carrying train derailed at Shahjibazar railway station in Habiganj's Madhabpur on Sunday. As a result, the railway communication with Sylhet was stopped.

The Chittagong-bound Paharika Express got stuck at Srimangal station and the Dhaka-bound Jayantika Express got stuck at Bhanugachha station. Passengers going to Dhaka and Chittagong are in extreme distress. The same picture at Shayestaganj railway station. Passengers are frustrated when train communication will be normal.

A man named Mizanur Rahman brought his family to the railway station to go to Dhaka on Jayantrika Express. He came to the station and found out that the train derailed and the rail communication was closed. Mizanur Rahman was going to Dhaka for treatment. But due to this accident he will not be able to reach Dhaka on time. He doesn't even know when the train will leave. He was extremely worried about how to spend time at the station with his family for such a long time.

The Srimangal-bound oil train, which left Chittagong on Sunday (November 6), derailed at around 12 noon in the Shahjibazar railway station area. As the oil-carrying bogie derailed, the oil spilled on and around the railway line. Ordinary people crowded to collect this oil. That's how you collect oil. Some in buckets, some in glass-mugs, and some with small trays to collect small oils. The amazement of oil collection is going on there.

Mushfiqur Uddin, assistant station master at Shayestaganj railway station, said ordinary people collected oil after five bogies of an oil-carrying train derailed.

He added that there were 10,000 liters of diesel in each carriage. As such, there were 50,000 liters of diesel in five carriages.
