Bangladesh is in a good position in all aspects of production, industry, services, agriculture, exports and GDP growth despite the Corona pandemic and Ukraine-Russia war situation. But Bangladesh wants to do better. That is why the D-8 member countries can work together to get involved in this development trend of Bangladesh. Through which the field of mutual experience, information exchange and service delivery can be made easier.

The Foreign Minister said these while organizing an international business dialogue and expo at Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on the occasion of D-8's silver jubilee on Tuesday (July 26). Presidents, delegations and business leaders of Chambers of Commerce of Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey participated in this two-day event.

Prime Minister's Advisor on Private Industry and Investment Salman F Rahman, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, D-8 Secretary General Ambassador Isiaka Abdul Qadir Imam, D-8 CCI President Sheikh Fazle Fahim were present there.

Mentioning that Bangladesh is now the center of investment, Prime Minister's Advisor on Private Industry and Investment, Salman F. Rahman said, "Bangladesh is now the world's new potential in production. Average growth is more than 6 percent every year. Corona situation could not stop this growth. This is possible due to the competent leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina."

Despite the fact that Bangladesh is a very densely populated country compared to many countries in the world, the name of Bangladesh is now in the list of top countries in the production of rice, vegetables, fish and livestock. There are more consumers, more demand. So production and import are also high. In the global crisis caused by Russia-Ukraine war situation, D-8 member countries can work together to be a partner in the development progress of Bangladesh.
