Road Accident Four killed in bus-leguna collision in Cox’s Bazar's Chakaria
Dhaka, Dec 28: Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a Laguna and a bus at Chakarria in Cox's Bazar. Ten others were injured in this accident. The bus involved in the accident was going to Cox's Bazar on a picnic from Gazipur.
The accident took place on Thursday (December 28) around 8:30 am in the Dhalla area of Chakaria's Harbang district.
The deceased have been identified as Md. Ridwan (32), Moin Uddin (44), Abu Bakkar (30) and Zainal (34). They were all passengers of the Laguna and were residents of North Harbang area of Chakaria upazila. They all were labourers and were going to Lohagara in Chittagong.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chakaria Highway Police Station Mahbubul Haque said that a Cox's Bazar-bound bus collided head-on with a Chittagong-bound Laguna in Dhalla area of Zailla around 8:30 am. Four people were killed and at least 10 were injured in the accident.
"The injured have been admitted to Chakaria Upazila Hospital. Their identities could not be confirmed. Police have impounded two vehicles involved in the accident. Necessary legal action is being taken in this regard,” the police officer added.
