Iftar held at the Indian High Commission in Dhaka

Dhaka, April 12: Indian High Commission has organized Iftar programme in Dhaka. Bangladesh government officials, legislature, political parties, armed forces, civil society, businessmen, media and journalists participated in this iftar on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, High Commissioner Pranay Verma highlighted the significance of Iftar in increasing the spirit of humanity and brotherhood. He emphasized on the deep bond of friendship and cooperation between Bangladesh and India. At the same time, he reiterated his commitment to further enrich the special and multifaceted relationship rooted in the collective sacrifice of 1971.

The High Commissioner said that this Iftar gathering is a symbol of deep bond, which builds the foundation of Bangladesh-India relations. It is a strong and historic bond between the two countries. At the same time it demonstrates the determination to work towards a more prosperous future for the people of both countries.

Meanwhile, BNP leaders also participated in the iftar party of the Indian High Commission. BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said this.

He said that four BNP leaders participated in the iftar party organized by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Among them were BNP Standing Committee Member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintu and Organizing Secretary Shama Obaid.
