Dhaka, August 28: Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Ghulam Muhammed (GM) Quader recently visited India on a three-day visit at the invitation of the country's central ruling party BJP. He is still not opening his mouth about what was the subject of discussion in that visit. In this situation, various rumors are spreading around. The media is not getting much information about this as the other leaders of JP who went on the trip did not open their mouths.

Several Jatiya Party leaders say that there has been no official meeting of the party since GM Quader's arrival from India. At the moment, party secretary general Mujibul Haque Chunnu is in Bangkok for his wife's treatment. Due to which it is not possible to call the meeting. However, some members of the party presidium personally met GM Quader. He informed them that there were fruitful discussions during his visit to India. However, he did not say anything in detail about what was discussed, what was the content. According to those leaders, the message is clear, the National Party will participate in the next election.

Discussions with the chairman have given some indication. That is - there will be an interim government before the next election. However, the chairman did not reveal what its size would be and whether Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would be the head of the government or someone else.

When asked about this, Jatiya Party presidium member Fakhrul Imam said, "Since I was not on a trip to India, I do not know what was discussed there." The chairman met him after he returned from his visit. He said, India wants to see a fair election here. They have confidence in Jatiya Party. Moreover, Jatiya Party is an election-oriented party.

GM Quader was accompanied on the India tour by his wife Sharifa Quader. She said, "I can't say anything. Because, I did not attend all the meetings. He (GM Quader) attended some important meetings alone. He said that it is better not to talk about the discussion outside. Maybe it will come out slowly. Day by day many things are changing. You will know everything slowly."

He also said that we went on a tour of India, and here (Bangladesh) Rowshan Ershad has done a lot. We want the country to be good from all sides. The chairman's speech gave some hints about the government during the election. This issue will be discussed when the party meets. And we understand that Rowshan Ershad became active when he criticized the government.
