Then Shamsuddin Didar, a member of BNP Chairperson's media wing, said that Khaleda Zia will be taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital shortly for some urgent health tests and treatment.

On March 27, BNP informed that Khaleda Zia will be taken to the hospital that night for examination due to the deterioration of her physical condition. But at around 12 midnight that day, Khaleda Zia's medical board doctor Dr. Zahid Hossain told the media, "Madam Khaleda Zia felt sick around noon. After that, doctors conducted several tests on her."

Dr. Zahid also said that Khaleda Zia can be taken to the hospital at any time if necessary, as she felt better at night.
