Dhaka, March 26: The logo of the golden jubilee of independence has been unveiled. The logo was unveiled in the presence of President Mohammad Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the event held at the National Parade Square on Friday (March 26th). The logo of the Golden Jubilee of Independence was conceived and designed by Ramendra Majumder and Pradeep Chakraborty.

Today is the last day of the ten-day program to mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of independence. The theme of the day is 'Fifty Years of Independence and the Golden Line of Progress'.

The event, held at the National Parade Square on Friday (March 26), began with the national anthem. After that the discussion started with the guests taking their seats and officially reciting the scriptures.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the function. President as the chief guest. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi was present as the guest of honor.

Besides, Bangabandhu's youngest daughter Sheikh Rehana and Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury along with high level officials of different countries including Bangladesh and India were present.

The event, held at National Parade Square, is broadcast live on television, radio, online media and social media.

According to the program schedule, the first episode will have discussions from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, a 30-minute break from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm and the second episode will have cultural programs from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Welcoming speech was given by the Chief Coordinator of the National Implementation Committee to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury.

In the cultural program, the renowned choreographer of India, Pandit Ajay Chakraborty, performed a newly composed raga 'Maitri' dedicated to Bangabandhu, thematic choreography titled 'Father gave independent homeland, daughter gave light'.

The program will conclude with three timeless songs titled 'Bindu to Sindhu', 'Bangladesh Roar: Aaj Shunuk Puro Biswa' with drums and choreography, and finally Fireworks and Laser Show.
