Dhaka, March 17: Today is March 17. On this day in 1920, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of independent Bangladesh and the undisputed leader of the Bengali nation, was born into an aristocratic Muslim family in Tungipara, Gopalganj district. On the occasion of Bangabandhu's birthday, his grandson and eldest son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Sajeeb Wazed Joy posted a post on Facebook. Excerpts

Bangladesh to celebrate 102nd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 17

Dhaka, March 16: Tomorrow, March 17, is the 102nd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This day will be celebrated through various programs of the golden jubilee of independence of Bangladesh and the year of Mujib.
