Metro Rail Metro rail from Agargaon to Motijheel to start this year
Dhaka, February 3: Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the metro rail service from Agargaon to Motijheel will start this year.
He said this at the opening ceremony of the first underground metro rail (MRT Line-1) of Bangladesh on Thursday.
Obaidul Quader said, "Metrorail has been launched from Uttara to Agargaon. All the people of Bangladesh are excited now. Standing in a long line to board the metro rail after lungi. That attraction! Obaidul Quader commented that if six metro rails are launched, the area around Dhaka will be decorated in a new way in 2030."
