Narendra Modi extends greetings to PM Sheikh Hasina on Eid-ul-Azha

"In a letter, Prime Minister Modi said that the holy festival of Eid-ul-Azha serves as a strong reminder of the values of sacrifice, compassion and brotherhood," the Indian High Commission in Dhaka said in a press release on Wednesday.

He also pointed out that the bond between the people of India and Bangladesh has been forged through the shared history and cultural ties of both the countries as well as the sacrifices of the people.

Modi expressed strong confidence that the holy festival of Eid will bring the people of the two neighbouring countries closer together.
