Narendra Modi pays homage at Bangabandhu's tomb
Dhaka, March 27: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has paid homage at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj. He paid his respects by laying a wreath at Bangabandhu's tomb at 11:39 am on Saturday (March 27).
Earlier, Narendra Modi reached Tungipara at 11:25 am.

He was received by Prime Minister and Bangabandhu's daughters Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana. Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bangabandhu's mausoleum together, laid wreaths, planted trees and signed the visitor's book.
Earlier, Narendra Modi visited the Jessoreswari temple at Shyamnagar in Satkhira around 10 am. There he worshiped according to religious rites.
Narendra Modi will go from Tungipara to Orakandi in Kashiani. There he will worship at the temple of Sri Sri Harichand and Guruchand Tagore at the house of Harichand Tagore. He will later exchange views with Matua representatives. Then Modi will return to Dhaka.
It may be recalled that the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi came on a two-day visit to attend the birth centenary and golden jubilee celebrations of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This is his second tour.
