Dhaka, April 28: From the end of this week onwards, multiple thunderstorms will hit most parts of the country in the next one week. This storm of Kalbaishakhi can take the form of moderate to severe storm.

Tuesday (April 27) night, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department meteorologist said. Mohammad Abul Kalam Mallick said thunderstorms with thunderstorms could be seen in many places from Thursday, April 29 tomorrow. Clouds will be seen in Rangpur, Sylhet and Mymensingh areas after Wednesday (April 28). Some clouds have already formed in Sylhet area.

The meteorologist said, however, there is no possibility of continuous rain even if there is a thunderstorm throughout the week. This Kalbaishakhi storm can be moderate to severe. In case of severe storm, its speed will be more than 60 to 80 kilometers per hour.

He said the wind speed has also changed at present. Earlier, wind was blowing in the country from the north-west. Now the wind will blow in a south-westerly direction. There is a possibility of light rain from the south-west from Wednesday. Especially towards Mymensingh, Sylhet, Rangpur. After Friday (April 30) there is a possibility of thunderstorms with gusty winds across the country.

Originally, there would be intermittent thunderstorms over the next one week from Saturday (May 1). Khulna will receive more rainfall from Sunday (May 2). However, there is no possibility of a cyclone or cyclone, the meteorologist said.
