Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the Bangladesh Armed Forces and BGB (Border Guard Bangladesh) to be patient on the Myanmar issue. Law Minister Anisul Huq said this in response to a supplementary question by Jatiya Party Secretary General Mojibul Haque Chunnu during the Jatiya Sangsad question and answer session on Monday.

Law Minister Anisul Huq said that a discussion with Myanmar has been ordered through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.

"We are talking about that discussion and what other measures can be taken if they (BGP members) are sent back or not sent back. As happened yesterday (Sunday), one of us was killed in a mortar shell firing. One of them also was also killed. Bangladesh is monitoring this ongoing situation very closely. Action will be taken soon," he added.
