Over 36 lakh people takes Vaccine

Own representative, Dhaka, March 8, 2021: 38 lakh 82 thousand 152 people have so far been vaccinated in the country by taking part in the national vaccination program against coronavirus which started on February 8. Among them 23 lakh 55 thousand 423 males and 13 lakh 26 thousand 629 females. 

625 people have side effects. As many as 49 lakh two thousand 946 people have registered for vaccination till 5.30 pm on Friday (March 8). This information has been found in the regular press release of the Department of Health regarding vaccination. The vaccination program runs from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm every day except public holidays from February 8.

According to the department, one lakh 963 people were vaccinated on Friday. Among them 71 thousand 354 males and 39 thousand 629 females.

According to the notification, out of the total 38 lakh 62 thousand 152 people who have been vaccinated, 11 lakh 50 thousand 254 people have been vaccinated in Dhaka division, one lakh 55 thousand 84 people have been vaccinated in Mymensingh division, seven lakh 8 thousand 254 people have been vaccinated in Chittagong division and Rajshahi division. Three lakh 99 thousand 435 people were vaccinated in Rangpur division, three lakh 36 thousand 129 people, four lakh 70 thousand 474 people were vaccinated in Khulna division, one lakh 79 thousand 355 people were vaccinated in Barisal division and two lakh 15 thousand 17 people were vaccinated in Sylhet division.
