Covid-19 Vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is 90 percent effective
Dhaka, November 10: For the first time, the US pharmaceutical company Pfizer and the German biotechnology company BioNTech have demanded the development of a 90 percent effective vaccine to prevent the epidemic of Covid-19. The vaccine was initially tested on 43,500 people in six countries.
According to a BBC report, preliminary results from clinical trials of the vaccine show that 90 per cent of people will not be infected with the epidemic of covid-19. The vaccine is 100 per cent safe. There was nothing to worry about in the test.
Pfizer-BioNTech, the company that jointly invented the vaccine, called it a "historic day for humanity and science."
The two companies plan to apply to the relevant authorities for approval in case of emergency later this month.
As the epidemic spreads around the world, competition is underway to develop an effective Covid-19 vaccine.
Vaccines developed by research institutes and companies in several countries of the world are now in the third stage of clinical trials. This is the first time such a vaccine has been found.
