Police bring back girl to parents

Dhaka, April 19: Thirteen-year-old Sanjida Akter Rimi was lost in the way. The eighth grader came to Dhaka after being upset with her parents. While she was afraid, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) traffic police brought her back to her parents by counseling Sanjida.

On Monday (April 18) Assistant Police Commissioner of Traffic-Mohakhali Zone (AC) Ashfaq Ahmed said that the girl was seen roaming in front of Mohakhali bus terminal area around 10am on Sunday. The people present there tried to help the girl board the bus. But because of their behavior, a pedestrian informed Sergeant Md. Ikramul Alam. He then brought the girl to Mohakhali traffic zone office.

The information were known after questioning the girl.

Assistant Police Commissioner Ashfaq Ahmed said that after finding out the mobile number, her parents were immediately contacted. The parents immediately came to Dhaka.

Until her parents came to the traffic police box, she was kept engaged in various encouraging conversations so that she could be normal and happy. After her parents reached the Mohakhali traffic zone in Dhaka, they shed happy tears after seeing their daughter healthy.
