LPG Price Price of 12 kg LPG increased by Tk 16
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Sept 8: The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been increased at the consumer level. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has decided to increase the price of each 12kg LPG cylinder by Tk 16. At the consumer level, the price of each 12 kg LPG cylinder has now been set at Tk 1,235.
BERC announced the new price of LPG in a press conference at 10 am on Wednesday (September 7). LPG prices have been fixed for the current month which is effective from 1 pm on Wednesday.
It was said in the press conference that according to the new price of Saudi Aramco company, the price of LPG per kg without VAT has been adjusted to Tk 96.43 and Tk 102.88 including VAT. Accordingly, the price of 12 kg of LPG has been adjusted to Tk 1,235 at the consumer level at the retailer point.
Earlier on August 2, BERC had reduced the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder by Tk 35 from Tk 1,254 to Tk 1,219 at the consumer level. Today it has been increased by Tk 16 to Tk 1,235.
