Elections Sheikh Hasina will receive public greetings on Tuesday
Own correspondent, Dhaka, 9 January 2024: Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will meet the public on Tuesday 9 January. The program will start from morning at Ganabhaban. Basically Awami League president will receive greetings due to the victory in the 12th National Parliament election on this day. People from different professions will come in this event. Sheikh Hasina will be congratulated for being elected for the fourth time in a row.
Meanwhile, ambassadors of India, Russia, China, Bhutan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan and Brazil and Moroccan ambassador and dean of the diplomatic core in Bangladesh paid a courtesy call on Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday. The meeting took place on Monday (January 8) at Ganabhaban.
They congratulated Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with bouquets of flowers on behalf of their respective countries as Awami League won the 12th National Parliament election.
The ambassadors expressed their firm commitment to continue the cooperation of their respective countries with Bangladesh. The Prime Minister thanked the ambassadors and sought the cooperation of friendly countries in the development and progress of Bangladesh.
