SSC Results SSC results on December 30
Own representative, Dhaka, December 27: Results of SSC and equivalent examinations will be announced this week. However, December 30 has been mentioned as a possible date. Free books will be distributed on the same day.
Earlier, the Inter-Education Board had fixed December 27 as the date of publication of results. As the Prime Minister's foreign tour is scheduled till December 28, the results may be released on December 30, according to board sources. However, if the Prime Minister orders, it can be published on December 29 even earlier.
In this regard, on Sunday (December 26), the Chairman of the Board of Inter-Education, Professor Nehal Ahmed said, "We are fully prepared to publish the results. With the consent of the Prime Minister, the date can be fixed any day on the initiative of the Ministry of Education. We have learned that the Prime Minister has spoken unofficially on the 30th." However, the results will be released any day of the week after the 28th, he said.
According to the Dhaka Board of Education, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to Maldives has been extended and the results will not be released before December 28. The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to the country on December 27 after a visit to the Maldives. Returning to the country on December 30, she will inaugurate the distribution of free textbooks for the next academic year. Discussions are going on that SSC and equivalent results may be published on the same day. However, the date has not been finalized yet. The results will be announced on the day the Prime Minister agrees.
Due to the prevalence of the coronavirus pandemic, SSC and equivalent examinations were held eight and a half months after the scheduled time. There were more than 22 lakh candidates in this examination.
Before the start of the exam, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said that the results would be released within 30 days after the end of the exam. This test started on 14th November and ended on 23rd November.
