Kalbaishakhi Sylhet to experience Nor'westers, heavy rains in six divisions
Dhaka, March 31: The districts of Sylhet division are going to face rain or thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department said this at around 9 pm on Tuesday (March 30).
The weather forecast from 6pm on Tuesday to 6pm on Wednesday (March 31) said that it will rain temporarily in some parts of Sylhet division including Jessore and Kushtia region and in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. There may be rain with thunder. There may also be scattered hailstorms somewhere. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will be mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies.
Meanwhile, mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division including Gopalganj, Rajshahi and Pabna regions. It may subside in some places.
Daytime temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged and nighttime temperatures may drop slightly.
The weather may change slightly in the next 24 hours. The temperature may rise in the next five days.
Most of the western light pressure is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas.
The meteorological office also said that the normal light pressure of the season is located in the South Bay.
