TCB | Family Card TCB starts selling products through family cards
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, June 22: The Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) has again started selling products to family cardholders.
This activity has started from today (Wednesday, June 22). However, this time the products will be sold only from the dealer's shop or from the designated permanent establishment through the family card, not from the truck like before. TCB said this in a press release on Tuesday (June 21) afternoon.
It said that on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, TCB products will be given to the families at a subsidized price under the direction of the Prime Minister. Starting from Wednesday, this activity will continue till July 5.
However, selling of products will be start on June 26 in Madaripur, Shariatpur, Gopalganj and Munshiganj districts. Due to the floods, this activity will be suspended in the districts of Sylhet division for the time being. The date will be announced later considering the situation.
A consumer can buy a maximum of two litres of soybean oil, two kgs of lentils and one kg of sugar. Soybean oil is being sold at Tk 110 per liter, sugar at Tk 55 per kg and lentil pulses at Tk 65 per kg.
